REIKI

In-person sessions offered to those in the Rogue Valley. Distance sessions for those anywhere in the Universe.

“Reiki is a laying on of hands touch healing system of incomparable ease and power.” ~ Diane Stein

What reiki is

Reiki promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety in a gentle, non-invasive way by delivering universal energy to one's body. Reiki improves the flow and balance of the recipient’s energy to support healing on multiple levels.

Relaxation:

Science has found the effectiveness of relaxation techniques, like Reiki, lowers heart rates, blood pressure and oxygen consumption, and they alleviate the symptoms associated with a vast array of conditions, including hypertension, arthritis, insomnia, depression, infertility, cancer, anxiety, even aging. "With less static, less noise, traditional cognitive restructuring enters," said Benson. "People listen better. It's a more fertile environment, so you can do what you are so well trained to do -- the cognitive work, the positive ideation. It's a door opening to allow you to help change people's lives."

Given that 60 percent to 90 percent of health-care professional visits are stress-related, the potential of the relaxation response to help people is enormous, he said. "I believe this is going to change medicine." (2)

Anxiety and Stress:

“Reiki is a “complementary” therapy that can be implemented alongside all other medical and therapeutic techniques. It is a gentle technique that is suitable for even very fragile patients, so it is accepted widely in hospitals and hospices around the world. The profound relaxation produced by Reiki has been anecdotally reported to alleviate anxiety and stress, the perception of pain, and to promote a feeling of psychospiritual well-being.” (3)

The Benefits of Reiki

I have found that, for myself and my clients, Reiki is a gentle experience that takes one quickly into a deep relaxation. It supports other healing modalities with no contradictions but a quiet, positive flow that helps one listen to what their Soul requires to find their greatest potential in physiological, spiritual, and psychological health. Bringing clarity and guidance.

In a private in-person session one will lay clothed in what is comfortable for them on a massage table. There will be calming music and low lighting to create a space that is comforting and safe for all. Touch is optional and not required. Prior to the session we will share if you have any triggers that cause anxiety or fear so those can be eliminated. In a distance session you will provide a comfortable, quiet space for yourself.

In both types of sessions we will chat about your intentions and issues that are resonating with you for as much time as you require; typically about 10 minutes but we don’t have to talk at all. The time is yours and we will follow our intuition at the time. Reiki will only support you in your journey.

Time receiving Reiki is an opportunity for you to go into deep relaxation without effort. You don’t have to prepare, talk, try, nothing! You get to close your eyes and let Reiki serve your highest good.
